Life offers us many opportunities to feel uncomfortable. Stress can result from a myriad of experiences: grocery shopping, that conversation with your boss or your spouse or your teenager, even time on Facebook! When we “feel” uncomfortable, we might find ways “to not feel” the discomfort: food, drugs, alcohol are just a few. The problem is that when we numb uncomfortable feelings, we numb ALL our feelings. The things we desire to feel get numbed, too – things like contentment, satisfaction, or joy. Let yourself be. Let yourself feel. Be with yourself and feel the full range of who your are, of what you are experiencing. In this way, you can experience a rich and full life that is vibrant. Let go and feel it all.
