“April 16, 2013 – The Morning After” by Tami Boehle-Satterfield

despair

There is a low, brooding cloud
That hangs darkly
Over me.
A pall set in Boston
Cast across the world
Shadowing the majesty
Of life.
Even my life.
I will set my faith
In the Arizona sun,
Burning
The wounded cloud of fear and misery
Until all that remains is blue sky.
